1. About Us

Peptide Innovation Lab is a Quebec-based research chemical supplier operating at peptideinnovationlab.ca. We supply high-purity, lyophilized peptides exclusively for laboratory research and analytical purposes.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, creating an account, or placing an order, you confirm that you:

  • Are at least 18 years of age
  • Are a qualified researcher, scientist, or laboratory professional purchasing for legitimate research purposes
  • Have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy
  • Understand and accept that all products are sold strictly for Research Use Only (RUO)

3. Research Use Only — Strict Limitation

All products sold by Peptide Innovation Lab are intended solely for in vitro laboratory research and analytical purposes. By placing an order, you expressly acknowledge and agree that:

  • These products have not been submitted to or evaluated by Health Canada for therapeutic, diagnostic, or clinical use
  • Products are not for human or animal consumption, injection, or use of any kind
  • Products are not drugs, dietary supplements, natural health products, or cosmetics as defined under the Food and Drugs Act (Canada)
  • You will not resell, compound, or redistribute products for human or animal use
  • You are solely responsible for ensuring your use complies with all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws, including but not limited to the Food and Drugs Act (Canada) and the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (Canada)
  • Peptide Innovation Lab bears no liability for any misuse, unauthorized use, or use inconsistent with the RUO designation

4. Eligibility & Account Registration

You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase from our store. By creating an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

5. Orders & Pricing

All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion, including orders we believe are placed for non-research purposes
  • Correct pricing errors at any time prior to shipment
  • Limit quantities available for purchase

Order confirmation does not constitute acceptance of your order. Acceptance occurs upon shipment.

6. Shipping & Delivery

Orders are shipped from Quebec, Canada. Delivery timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed. You are responsible for:

  • Ensuring your shipping address is accurate at the time of order
  • Compliance with all import/export laws in your jurisdiction
  • Any applicable customs duties, taxes, or import fees

Peptide Innovation Lab is not responsible for delays caused by customs, carriers, or circumstances beyond our control.

7. Refunds & Returns

Our Refund Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for damaged, defective, or incorrect items only, subject to the conditions set out in our Refund Policy. Opened or used products are not eligible for return due to the nature of research chemicals.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, product descriptions, and documentation — is the property of Peptide Innovation Lab and is protected by applicable Canadian and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our products and Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • Products will meet your specific research requirements
  • The website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses
  • Any results obtained from use of our products will be accurate or reliable

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Peptide Innovation Lab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our products or Services, including but not limited to damages resulting from misuse of research chemicals. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Peptide Innovation Lab, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of our products or Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or regulation.

12. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use our website or products to:

  • Violate any applicable federal, provincial, or local law or regulation
  • Purchase products for human or animal use, consumption, or therapeutic application
  • Resell or redistribute products for non-research purposes
  • Engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful conduct
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data

We reserve the right to cancel orders, suspend accounts, and report suspicious activity to relevant authorities. Products may not be used in clinical trials, compounding, or any application subject to Health Canada's Notice of Compliance (NOC) requirements without appropriate federal authorization. Products may not be reformulated, repackaged, or relabeled for resale as drugs, natural health products, dietary supplements, or cosmetics under any applicable federal or provincial legislation.

13. Privacy

Your use of our Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our Services, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy, in accordance with PIPEDA and Quebec Law 25.
